While I generally focus on the user experience of such systems, the Telluride’s layout, though not my personal favorite, does incorporate some user-friendly elements, such as a readily accessible row of physical controls below the touchscreen. However, one design choice that proved consistently challenging was the placement of the gear shifter – a stalk mounted on the right side of the steering column. Despite the expectation of eventual acclimatization, I found myself frequently searching for it, disrupting the otherwise intuitive driving experience.
